Project
Pathfinder, Inc. is a private non-profit organization dedicated to the
elimination of sexual violence and abuse. We view sexual health as a
fundamental human right; therefore, freedom from abuse and relief from
sexual problems are essential to sexual health. We believe sexually
abusive behavior can be treated and that prevention programs can reduce
the incidence of future abuse.
Our
mission is to improve the lives of our clients and their families and
protect the interests of our community. Project Pathfinder provides psychotherapy,
consultation, research and training that lead to the prevention of
future sexual violence and abuse.
Project Pathfinder
grew out of a
program begun in Ramsey County, Minnesota in 1986. We serve clients ranging from
children to adolescents to adults at several locations in and around the Greater Twin Cities Metropolitan area.. Our range of programs and services
includes, individual and group counseling, educational sessions for families, workshops and training's,, research in the field of sexual abuse and programs
for sexual abuse prevention such as Stop It Now! Minnesota.
We provide affordable and effective treatment services in cooperation
with allied professionals who are involved in a client’s treatment
plan. Our Staff provide specialized evaluation and treatment services
and have specialized credentials in psychology, clinical social work,
marriage and family therapy, group therapy and theology.
