Assessment and Evaluation Services
Assessments and evaluations are conducted to assess psychological, social, sexual, behavioral and relational functioning. They can address questions such as need for treatment, treatment amenability and venue, risk issues or need for adjunct/referral services (including treatment for chemical dependency).

Comprehensive assessment and evaluation services are available for:
  • Criminal Court - Pre-sentence or post-sentence; under the patterned offender statute; or court ordered sex offender evaluation statute.
  • Family Court - Custody or visitation disputes where sexual misconduct has been alleged.
  • Employer concerns - In cases of sexual harassment or sexual misconduct in the workplace.
  • Self-referral
An evaluation can include the following components:
  • Clinical interviews
  • Psychological testing
  • Objective measures of sexuality
  • Phallometric assessment
  • Abel assessment
  • Polygraph exam
  • Medical/Psychiatric evaluation
A detailed report with recommendations that address issues and concerns, treatment amenability and venue, and/or the need for ancillary services is provided at the conclusion of the assessment/evaluation.
Treatment for Adults
For adults, we operate a structured, outpatient program that identifies and treats harmful sexual behaviors in adults. The program includes a 4-week orientation group, weekly group therapy sessions, individual and/or family therapy, and an aftercare program.

We also offer Visitation Supervision Training. Individual and family therapy is also available for a variety of issues, including depression and relationship issues.
