Resources for ProfessionalsChild sexual abuse is not inevitable. It's preventable. Through this web site, we provide on-line information and resources for anyone concerned about sexualized behaviors towards or between children. Preventing the sexual abuse of children before a child is harmed and before an adult, youth, or child acts in a sexually inappropriate way toward a child is challenging and requires the collaboration of those who work with children and families.
Through Project Pathfinder’s Stop It Now! Minnesota program, we work in partnership with many community-based organizations throughout Minnesota to reach and educate adults about the important role each of us plays in preventing the sexual abuse of children.

How Understanding and Responding to Children's Sexual Behavior Can Prevent Child Sexual AbuseThis workshop highlights common and uncommon sexual behaviors in children and youth and how to respond to concerning behaviors.
Let's Talk: Adults Talking to Adults About Child Sexual AbuseHow do you talk to someone when their behavior with a child is concerning you? What do you say when you are worried about an adult you care about and a child you care about? This workshop highlights how to intervene when you see concerning behaviors and how to make sure everyone is safe.
Keeping Kids Safe and Healthy: Preventing Child Sexual AbuseThis workshop highlights what adults and communities can do to prevent child sexual abuse before a child is harmed and before an adult or adolescent acts in a sexually harmful way.

DialoguesStop It Now! Minnesota is committed to breaking the silence that surrounds the sexual abuse of children. We work with individuals directly affected by child sexual abuse, including adults who have abused, adults who were abused as children, and family members to share their stories of healing. Educational MaterialsWe work with many organizations throughout Minnesota to distribute our educational materials. While most of our materials are provided free for downloading on this site, we also have a limited supply of printed materials available for a small fee. Many adults grew up in homes where unclear, unhealthy, and/or abusive sexual behaviors were modeled. These families may need extra assistance in setting and enforcing healthy sexual boundaries in their homes. It may be appropriate for you to initiate conversations with the families you work with about healthy sexual boundaries.

The Stop It Now! Helpline (1.888.PREVENT)The Helpline phone service has been limited due to financial constraints. Please call for available hours. The new Online Help Center provides much of the guidance and resources learned over the years about keeping children safe from sexual abuse.
Free Educational Materials
Stop It Now! Minnesota encourages you to download any of our materials that may help you in preventing child sexual abuse. We also have a limited number of printed booklets and fact sheets, as well as ad materials and forms available to the public for a small fee.
